Who We Are

Plains is a mission church of the Presbyterian Church of America. The Presbyterian Church of America is a national denomination with historic roots in classic biblical Christianity. Plains has been planted by and is receiving oversight from Eastwood Presbyterian Church in Montgomery, Alabama.

Pastor Information

Rick Stark was called as the planting church pastor in April 2009 by Eastwood Presbyterian Church and the Southeast Alabama Presbytery. Rick holds degrees from Southeastern Louisiana University and Reformed Theological Seminary. Before attending seminary, Rick was on staff with Athletes in Action, the sports ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. Most recently, he has served as Assistant Pastor at Trinity Presbyterian in Jackson, MS and as Associate Pastor at Covenant Presbyterian in Auburn, AL. Ministries

We are currently meeting for worship on Sundays. Currently, we offer a complete nursery and childcare facility and staff, youth ministries, Sunday school and adult small groups.
